Sophomore at the Art Institute International of Minnesota Majoring in Fashion Design/Retail Management and Merchandising (BA) I started at the University of Minnesota-TC, but it was too large.
Experience
I do have previous experience. In high school I was in a club called LINC and one of the volunteer options was tutor elementary school children, so I did that a couple times. Also, I signed up for tutoring underclassmen. I helped a couple freshman and one sophomore. I took mostly AP classes in high school and received a 3 or better on all of them. AP US History- 5, AP Euro History- 4, AP Language and Composition-3, AP Psychology- 4. I was awarded as an AP Scholar, graduating with honors. I took the ACT test and my average score was 28. I would love to be a tutor because I always loved learning and to try and rub some of that off on the boy/girl I hopefully will be tutoring would be amazing. The passion I have for the subjects I have listed is real and I think I could really help and, even if I make just the slightest difference in this person's life, I would be so happy. Everyone deserves a chance to know they can do it. I want to be that person to push them.

I am a creative, eccentric person, but know how to be professional and steady when I have to. I believe in self-expression and embracing the inner you fully and completely. I think it's one of the most beautiful aspects of creation, the fact that we are all different. Every single human you meet knows something you don't. I love people and genuinely love hearing their stories, their testimonials. I love fashion, hence my major at AI, but I love it because there is a huge fundamental foundation of psychology and cultural/societal/political influence. Everyone has their own style and I believe it's the purest form of self-expression because it reflects your personality and who you are. I paint, write poetry, am obsessed with Harry Potter and The Beatles and am a very open-minded, patient person. The one thing I feel like I should say about me, just in case, is that I have tattoos. They are easily covered up, but some people don't appreciate any at all and I respect that. OH and I love animals. I used to volunteer at the Humane Society. Any other questions, feel free to ask!
